F.U.M.C. Fall Kids’ Retreat, “Jesus, King of My Jungle” is right around the corner! Our very own Safari Planners are putting together a one-of-a-kind, one day safari that your kids won’t want to miss. They will travel the trails of the F.U.M.C. Jungle under the careful supervision of our Professional Safari Guides, sampling all aspects of many safari wilderness sites (you never know what mysterious sounds one may hear or what animals may be hiding in the jungle). They and their fellow safari tourists will enjoy non-stop fun at each of the “Bush Camps” located throughout our Jungle, including games, crafts, a special message from our “Puppets of the Jungle”, Jungle story time in our very own Tree House, musical sounds of the Jungle, cookie decorating, and lunch in the “Rainforest Café”, and a “Jungle Jammin” good time! And, if that’s not enough to get them signed up for our Jungle Safari right away, we have a very special treat in store for them: a “Silly Safari Show starring Jungle John”. And there’s more - -. it’s all free!
Safari tours are very popular this year so we have expanded our tour groups from 6 to 8 for this special Safari, “Jesus, King of My Jungle” only. And, we are even including, for your convenience, a registration form which you can just print, complete, and drop off at the church office or mail to: First United Methodist Church, 1324 Church St., New Castle, IN 47362. And, you are welcome to make extra copies for friends/guests or pick up extra copies at the church. Registration forms are due on or before November 5th and you know how the days seem to pass more quickly than we can imagine; so why not register now and mark that date on your calendar right away! Early registration will be an enormous help to our Safari Planners in making preparations for your best possible Jungle Safari experience, so the earlier the better!!!
